David Cavallo

David Cavallo, Vice President, Chief Learning Architect. For over a decade, David collaborated with Seymour Papert at the MIT Media Lab, working on new learning paradigms, building innovative technologies and using them with children. He has spent many years designing and implementing innovative learning initiatives in schools and communities in the US and in developing countries. At OLPC he is guiding OLPC's approach to education by helping countries develop their own vision, local teams, and operational framework; by developing materials for learning in immersive connected environments; and by designing and coordinating OLPC's electronic environment to support learning.
